Enzo Avitabile
Vincenzo “Enzo” Avitabile (born March 1, 1955) is an Italian saxophonist, composer and singer‑songwriter whose work fuses jazz, world music and Neapolitan tradition. A self‑taught sax player from the age of ten, he honed his classical skills at Naples’ Conservatorio di San Pietro a Majella and debuted in 1982 with the album Avitabile—featuring Richie Havens—that set the stage for his eclectic career.
