Army of Lovers is a Swedish pop music group founded in 1987 by Alexander Bard. The group became known for its elaborate and provocative visual style, often featured in music videos that were at times controversial and occasionally banned from television networks such as MTV. Their costumes were designed by Camilla Thulin. The original lineup included Alexander Bard, Jean-Pierre Barda, and La Camilla (Camilla Henemark). Over the years, the group’s lineup changed multiple times.
